Africa’s march towards an online-based gambling ecosystem is picking up pace.

James Everett, BetGames VP of Sales, Africa, was one of three experts interviewed on the topic by Gambling News.

“We’ve noticed an increase in demand for virtual. This is partly down to low data requirements and faster gameplay. However, revenue is still dominated by sports betting and live sports - which amounts to approximately 70-80% of total turnover,” Everett said.
