BetGames is an international developer and distributor of interactive (LIVE) and innovative gaming products for the betting business (B2B) with more than 300 people. Our games combine traditional betting with popular lotteries and table games and are simple enough for players to easily catch on to the idea.
More recently, we started reinventing live entertainment (again) by launching a brand new live sports vertical. BetGames became a pioneer in 2012 and has been increasing in popularity ever since, thus becoming a market leader. Our services are used by online and land-based betting operators worldwide in more than 45 countries.
As a Game Producer at BetGames, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and developing new games while also creating the underlying mathematical models that drive these games. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, artists, and analysts, to bring your game concepts to life and ensure they deliver a thrilling and fair gaming experience.
Responsibilities
- Game Conceptualization: Generate innovative and captivating game ideas that align with BetGames' vision and target audience
- Game Design: Create detailed game design documents, including gameplay mechanics, rules, user interfaces, and player progression systems
- Mathematical Modeling: Develop complex mathematical models and algorithms that underpin the gameplay, ensuring fairness, balance, and excitement
- Prototyping: Build prototypes and proofs of concept to test and refine game mechanics and mathematical models
- Balance and Optimization: Continuously fine-tune game parameters to optimize player engagement, retention, and profitability
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the development team, artists, and analysts to ensure the seamless integration of game mechanics and graphics
- Testing and QA: Conduct rigorous playtesting and quality assurance to identify and resolve bugs, glitches, and gameplay issues
- Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, player preferences, and competitive games to inform your design decisions
- Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of game designs, mathematical models, and development processes
- Compliance: Ensure that all games comply with relevant gaming regulations and standards
We expect you possess
- Bachelor's degree in Game Design, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Proven experience as a Game Designer/Producer, preferably in the iGaming or betting industry with experience in slots and gaming
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills, with the ability to create and analyze complex mathematical models
- Proficiency in game design software and tools
- Creativity and a passion for creating unique and engaging gaming experiences
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of gaming regulations and compliance is a plus
- Experience with mobile and online gaming platforms is desirable
